THANK YOU supporters of Queens County Market and all vendors, sponsors, bakers, donors and volunteers for making this one of our best markets yet! The market was packed at the 4-hour event with shoppers ready to quench their thirst and fill up on local tasty beers and eats.
From oysters on the half shell, spicy Korean kimchi, charcuterie & cured meats, Jamaican oxtail sandwiches to Argentine alfajores, chai tea, coffee brewing kits, olive oils, aged vinegars, seasonal jams & sawce, it was YOU who helped many of our vendors sell out at our last market of the season!

Thank you to all our participants for donating pies for our bake off fundraiser benefitting Oxfam America's Haiyan Relief. This was our first bake-off fundraiser and the first of it's kind in Queens to highlight so many local bakers & businesses working together for a great cause! You offered market goers quite the variety.
Sweet pies like pumpkin, coconut, sweet potato, german chocolate, french silk, pecan and savory offerings like zucchini squash, cabbage and a few interpretations of a classic pie with a sweet potato shepherd's pie and a mushroom galette.
In only 4 hours (!!!), your recipes and pies enticed shoppers to donate almost $700 at the table, all to benefit Oxfam America's Haiyan Relief. 100% of the money received will be donated directly to the organization. Thank you to all our local bakers including, Rudy, Dre, Daniel & Yoko, Ashley, Amihan, Justine, Dellalyn, Dre, Hannah, Nick & friends. Special thank you to the following Queens businesses for their donation and support in the bake-off: SingleCut Beersmiths, Rest-au-Rant, The Queens Kickshaw, Edible Queens and Sweets First.
